Opening Monday 7th December. TRG is on the move!
TRG Imaging (formerly The Radiology Group) is very excited to be undergoing a brand improvement as well as a move to its new flagship branch. The new address is;
209 Shakespeare Road, Milford, Auckland 0620
The name change reflects the modern view of using as little ionising radiation as possible with the emergence of new modalities: diagnostic radiology moves to medical imaging. The colours selected are fresh and new.
We have been busy updating our clinics, signage, information packs and website. The feedback from our patients has been so positive. We are very proud of our new look and feel. What has not changed is our focus on quality and patient experience.
Over the weekend of the 5th and 6th of December we are moving into our new building at 209 Shakespeare Road, Milford. We look forward to offering this clinic and its services to your patients from Monday 7th December.
This new imaging centre located opposite the main entrance to North Shore Hospital is a comprehensive radiology practice and offers:
- Digital Radiology
- Ultrasound
- CT Scans
- MRI Services, including a new top of the Siemens 3T magnet
We pride ourselves on combining innovation in technology with the leading sub-specialty skills of our 27 Radiologists and over 200 staff in the Group to ensure expert imaging and diagnosis.
Auckland Breast Centre
We are proud of our partnership with Auckland Breast Centre (ABC) who will also reside in the new building. ABC will be operating out of the new clinic from the 12th January 2016.
Auckland Breast Centre has taken the lead in the diagnosis and management of breast disease and is proud to have several ‘firsts’:
- First private digital mammography machine in the Waitemata Health district.
- First provider of radio-isotope injections for sentinel node localisation on the North Shore
- First provider of dedicated breast density assessment in Auckland
- First digital mammography tomosynthesis in Auckland
- First comprehensive breast imaging service to include on-site breast MRI in Auckland
- First intraoperative radiotherapy service in New Zealand
